Billing & Insurance
Kind Words Speech Therapy, Inc. is a private-pay, in-home speech therapy practice and does not currently accept insurance.
Upon request, we can provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. We recommend contacting your insurance provider before scheduling services to learn more about your out-of-network benefits and reimbursement options.

Cancellations and re-scheduled session will be subject to a full charge if NOT RECEIVED AT LEAST 48 HOURS IN ADVANCE. A time commitment is made to you and is held exclusively for you. If you are late for a session, you may lose some of that session time.
No-Shows: If you do not show up for a session without notice, the full session fee will be charged.
Illness: Please do not bring your child to therapy if they are sick. If your child has a fever or has vomited within the last 24 hours, please contact me to reschedule. Schedule availability is not guaranteed.

Invoices will be generated after the appointment and can be viewed in your client portal.

It depends. If your child has a recent speech and language evaluation, we may be able to move straight into therapy. If more updated information needs to be collected or if your child does not have a recent evaluation, we can move forward with an initial evaluation before starting therapy.

No. If you don't have a referral or prescription, please fill out a contact form to receive a free 15 minute video consultation.

The cost of traveling to your home is already included in the cost of assessment and therapy.

45=minute and 60-minute sessions are offered depending on the types of goals being addressed.

Weekly sessions will be scheduled with you once your child is deemed eligible for services.
